On Being a Dentist
Being a dentist in the northern Lancaster County area has been and continues to be the absolute best choice I could have made. Being surrounded by caring and interesting people who appreciate thorough, gentle, and informed treatment is a continual joy for me.
Connecting with so many people over so many years gives a foundation and fabric to my life and career that is far beyond just having a job and going to work. I am appreciative that I spend my days caring for my friends and look forward to their visits.

Doctorate of Dental Medicine – University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine
General practice residency in hospital-based dentistry – University of Vermont School of Medicine
One of the most amazing things about dentistry are the ongoing developments in treatment approaches and technology. Each year I pursue many hours of continuing education in order to remain current on those changes. My patients trust me to deliver the highest level of care, and the courses ensure I am able to do so.

I grew up in Phoenixville, PA. After I completed my dental residency in Vermont, my wife and I decided we wanted to return to Pennsylvania. We now have three grown children and five grandchildren, and feel blessed every day.
